Wednesday Bible Study will be held on September 2nd at 10:30 am. Pastor Dennis is currently teaching through the Psalms.
Covenant’s Community Group will also meet here at the church building on Wednesday, September 2nd, at 6:30 pm. This week Pastor Jesse will resume leading us in a Bible study on First Samuel. Please note that Community Group will now meet on Wednesday instead of Thursday.
Next Sunday, September 6th, we’ll observe the Lord’s Supper during corporate worship. Afterward, we’ll meet downstairs for our monthly Fellowship Lunch.
Our 50th Anniversary Celebration will be held on Sunday, September 20th. We’ll have a time of fellowship beginning at 9:15 am, followed by a special corporate worship gathering at 10:30 am with Pastor Larry McCall as our guest speaker. A reception with refreshments and Hors d'oeuvres will be held afterward in the fellowship hall.
Pastor Dana will teach Membership Classes at 6:30 pm on 09/23 and 09/30. During these two classes, we’ll take a closer look at the Bible’s teaching on the local church and church membership, our church covenant, and our statement of faith. This class is for both baptized believers who desire to formally join the church and those who would like to learn more about the church’s commitments and beliefs. Please let Pastor Dana know if you plan to attend.
